Beware!
Beware! is based on telling the stories of six Scottish folklore creatures, through the use of bright colours, illustrations and interactive techniques to engage you with the stories being told in the book and the artefacts surrounding it.
This engages you both physically and mentally.
Folk stories, and especially those featured within the book, are tied to Scottish culture and landscape. Often these stories have a deeper meaning of warning against an upcoming storm or explaining natural phenomena, as well as giving us insight and an appreciation for the past generations telling these stories.
Folklore cards, the purpose of these is to give you a visual taster as to what to expect from the book. Featuring a story or poem on the back.
