INTRO
Designed to bridge the gap in public understanding of subcultures and reduce prejudice caused by misconceptions.
Focusing on goth, nu metal, and emo. These are three often-misunderstood and grouped styles, the project highlights their distinct identities through a range of creative outputs. These include a magazine series, as well as interactive and promotional items like playing cards, sticker packs, trading cards, and branded t-shirts and tote bags.
Together, these products create an engaging and accessible way for audiences to learn about, identify, and appreciate each subculture.
I have designed 3 magazines, designed to teach people about the history and culture within the gothic, nu-metal and emo subcultures.
Subculture playing cards designed to visually help teach people about the key identifiable parts of the 3 subcultures.
Collectable trading cards designed to visually help teach people about the key identifiable parts of the 3 subcultures and teaching them what they mean.
Subculture sticker packs.
T-shirts and tote bags with INTRO's logo and Trad Goth illustration.
Open spread of Gothic magazine placed inside a display coffin.
Degree show layout and space to display the whole project.
