Through interviews, live sessions, and observational footage, it captures the energy behind organising events, building systems, and maintaining connections within the community.

The project aims to preserve and celebrate a culture often overlooked, highlighting how music creates spaces of belonging, identity, and collaboration. TheBotanica Sound offers a personal and immersive insight into Edinburgh’s vibrant grassroots music network today.
