Ava Mitchell

BOB JAMES is a project which pays tribute to Bert Mitchell. A father, a policeman, a journalist and an all-round talented man. This project looks at my dad’s archive and his time being ringside covering some of the highest points of Scottish Boxing.

The pinnacles of his career include interviewing legend Mike Tyson. Covering title fights and interviewing legends of the sport. Since my dad wrote for the newspapers it was therefore fitting for me to create my very own. A tabloid comprising of my dad’s articles, archive, quotes and my images. In the words of Bert Mitchell: “It’s game on.”
