Threads of Hope
Thread of Hope is a charity that supports cancer patients with medical devices like Hickman lines by designing accessible, comforting clothing. We gift specially made jumpers with built-in support to help patients feel at ease and accepted during chemotherapy.
A Hickman line is a thin, flexible tube placed in a vein in the chest to give treatments like chemotherapy or take blood without repeated needle sticks. They are often used when giving chemotherapy to a patient.
With oversized sleeves, attachable hoods, and features tailored to each person's needs, these garments offer function and warmth. Each piece connects patients to a broader care community, reminding them they’re not alone in their journey. Uniting people in strength, comfort, and hope through shared stories and donated garments.

Comfort, care, and community—Thread of Hope gifts adaptive jumpers to cancer patients, supporting their journey with warmth, dignity, and connection.

Designed for easy access to Hickman lines, our jumpers offer maintain dignity and ease making treatment days simpler, warmer, and more comforting.

Oversized sleeves to keep cosy and comfortable. Detachable hood to allow patients to stay comforted however they prefer.

These tags show a sense of community and togetherness.

The boxes are gifted to the patient to fulfil their needs and help them find acceptance in their cancer journey.

Our aim is to help patients find confidence in their new normality and feel comfortable to live day to day life without having to feel constrained to the clothes they can wear.

The boxes come with a cosy jumper with Hickman Line access point and supporting undergarment to prevent any budges or irritation to the line, preventing infection.

Stitched with care, each jumper connects patients in a shared journey—bringing strength, hope, and a sense of community through every thread.
