NOT YOUR ENEMY
NOT YOUR ENEMY is a community based public art project featuring 12 members of the queer and trans community. The project was created as a way to bring trans community members together in a space that amplifies authentic voices and stories from actual community members.
Putting our voices into the conversation around our right to exist, which too often excludes actual trans people. The work was shown as a series of billboards around Edinburgh in April 2026 and the project reflects on the reaction to these billboards, and how that mirrors the reaction to trans existence.
