Beneath the Route
This body of work explores the quiet rhythms of a young farmer’s life, where days begin before dawn and end after dark. The photographs capture landscapes shaped by labour, endurance, and solitude: endless fields, repetitive tasks, and moments of stillness that feel both peaceful and heavy.
At its core, the series examines the emotional reality of isolation and the slow introspection that accompanies it. Through subtle details a distant gaze, worn hands, pauses between tasks the images reveal resilience alongside loneliness.
Rather than portraying solitude as entirely desolate, the work reflects how isolation can also create clarity, reflection, and identity.
