From careful hatching of eggs in hatchery trays to the swirling energy of young fry entering the wild. Alongside water bailiffs who patrol and protect these rivers, hatchery workers play a vital role in sustaining salmon populations, nurturing new life before release. These photographs reveal a world shaped by light, movement and human care, where every ripple holds the story of a species and those who work tirelessly to protect and restore their journey.
