Neuroplay
Neuroplay is a non-profit charity aiming to foster inclusivity for neurodivergent individuals within football. Targeting club-level youth in Scotland, the project introduces five mascots that each representing a neurodivergent disorder to build empathy and awareness. The initiative includes a ‘Neuroplay’ tool pack with educational cards (Insight, Power, Definition), Interactive promotional posters, and a collector’s guidebook. These tools are distributed to football clubs, encouraging self-led learning. Mascots like Spectre the Giraffe (Autism) and Bizzy the Squirrel (ADHD) personify each condition. Ultimately, Neuroplay strives to create a more understanding grassroots football culture where neurodivergent players can participate confidently and authentically.
